Games night....
Tonight was the night of my introduction to 'Tenjo', a conquest strategy game based on feudal Japan. Adrian, Scott, Neil and I are all fans of these types of game and this was a special treat for me by the boys - what more could you ask for? Rake of beer, packet of smokes and 3 mates who you'll try and destroy over the next 6 hours with all the skitting and p*ss-taking that goes with it!!
First though, Neil distributed his pressies for the boys from the Land of Smiles! Here Adrian models a very tasteful 'Buddha' ashtray...!
Scott here models his new 'McPhucked' T-shirt along with his Georgian hat - originally owned by Stalin...?! The hat that is, not the T-shirt!!
I seem to recall that the rules took about 2 hours to explain, but we managed to get started - here the game is set out and we've begun the play - the board set-up is like nothing I've ever seen before but it is a clever game, well put together and very balanced.
This one's for Neil - I was playing him at Axis and Allies and rolled 4 snakes-eyes for my submarine first-strikes! Neil's face is 'gutted from Sydney'! A very satisfying moment as normally it's Neil who gets the luck of the draw with the spawny dice rolls! Take THAT Sir!!
Also, despite Neil giving me a good spannering, I still won.... Heh heh. The Captain of all I survey!!
